So something in me triggered me to get up last night and walk. And walk and walk. Well not that much. I walked 3.0 miles last night and loved it! I made a few phone calls. Talked to a few people that I hadn't spoken to in what seemed like forever and just enjoyed the brisk night air. Then I got a few texts & a phone call from an old friend inviting me out to play pool with him and his brother. I did. And then returned home to drift off into a peaceful slumber.
This morning I decided to hit the pavement again (I mean why not - I felt so good last night) and headed over to Publix to get one of those Bolthouse Farms smoothies. (YUM) So I got in another 2.4 miles this morning (and strangely enough ran into the same old friend at Publix) so I had company for a portion of the walk... and that's rarely a bad thing.
I feel more energized and... more peaceful. I am going to walk more. (Or continue to walk more, technically) I wonder how far I could walk/jog/run if I really put my mind to it?
